Each massage session is customized to your individual needs based on your health history and current areas of pain. This allows a variety of techniques and therapies to be incorporated for best results.

Swedish:
De-stress and relax with long flowing strokes to promote unity with body,mind and spirit. The dynamic and variety of these techniques creates a therapeutic and rejuvenating massage.

Deep Tissue:
Massage method focusing on aligning the deep layers of muscles and connective tissue (fascia) through kneading and applying slow, deep pressure. Benefits include improved range of motion and posture, stress and pain relief.

Hot Stone:
Specially selected heated basalt stones are used to massage the body, providing a nurturing and enhanced therapeutic effect. The application of heat not only sedates the nervous system nourishing nerve cells, while promoting toxin removal from the tissues.

Prenatal:
Massage designed for the "mother to be". It enhances relaxation, providing a sense of well-being. Also improves circulation and relieves the common discomforts and stress associated with pregnancy.

About Massage Cupping Therapy
*Suction cup therapy is a traditional, time-honored treatment adapted from the Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that remains favored by millions of people worldwide because it’s safe, comfortable and has remarkable results.

Why Cupping is so effective in bodywork?
* By creating suction and negative pressure, cupping therapy lifts connective tissue, releases rigid tissue and loosens adhesions. Cupping pulls stagnation, waste, and toxins to the skin level where it can be easily flushed out by the lymphatic and circulatory system.

* Cupping techniques bring blood flow and nutrition to stagnant areas. The pulling action engages the parasympathetic nervous system, thus allowing deep relaxation throughout the entire body.

*Cupping therapy is far more effective and long lasting than any other therapeutic bodywork applied alone.

What are the marks that can occur from cupping?
*The common “cupping kiss” that people think of with body cupping is not a bruise. The discolorations are due to pulling out stagnated fluids and wastes such as blood, lymph, cellular debris, metabolic waste and toxins. These marks can remain for a few hours to several weeks post treatment and are not tender to the touch.

* As treatments continue, the marks will occur less and less as a result of stagnation and toxicity being expelled from the body.

Due to the forceful, fluid moving actions of cupping it is contraindicated for the following conditions: open skin, edema, fever/illness, lipomas, lost skin integrity, compromised heart or blood circulation conditions, blood thinning medications, pain medications, pregnancy and the elderly. Please be sure to let your therapist know if you have ANY of these conditions.

FACIAL CUPPING:
Facial Cupping is the application of a silicone cup used to “suction” or “vacuum” the skin for therapeutic and aesthetic purposes. It is an excellent form of a non-invasive treatment that can work to minimize the effects of sun and environmental damage and aging. It is a completely safe technique to use, as it involves no surgery, downtime, chemicals, or any other potentially harmful and painful procedures.

The purpose of facial cupping is to draw impurities from your tissues and drain them into lymph nodes where bacteria, viruses and other harmful microorganisms are destroyed. By draining stagnant fluids from these reservoir areas it helps to reduce edema and chronic puffiness.

Adhered fascia is separated to aid in not only releasing repetitive muscle contracture (aka wrinkles), but also plumps, firms and tones the skin, while stimulating collagen, aligning scar tissue, mobilizing congested pores and improving vascularity and tone.

Facial cupping can also provide significant therapeutic results for symptoms related to sinus infections, inflammation, allergies and those suffering with TMJ.

With any service it is important to arrive hydrated and is helpful to have a clean face prior to the treatment. Feel free to add facial cupping to any massage service or facial.

The Basic facial is the perfect balance for your skin, providing a skin analysis, deep cleansing, refinement, masque, treatment and hydration.

The Essential: 60 minutes: $110
The Essential facial provides all the balance and restoration of a basic facial, except going a few steps further with a double cleansing, enzyme, extractions, massage of the face, scalp, décolleté, arms and hands. Additional perks are heated hand mitts and a cooling marble stone eye treatment.

The Indulgent: 120 minutes: $205

Waxing

Please allow 4-6 weeks of hair growth prior to your waxing service for maximum results. Refrain from sun exposure for 24 hours before and after waxing services. Return visits are recommended every 3-6 weeks.
*For your safety, Nourish will NOT provide waxing services if you are using Retin-A or Accutane.
